Fire Safety Education

The Fire Safety Education section provides many different programs on fire education. The Fire Safety Education section utilizes a Fire Safety Education trailer in order to teach children about stop, drop, and roll; what to do in case of an emergency; fire drills for the home; and also severe storm drills. The Fire Safety Education trailer is utilized to show the effects and importance of a sprinkler system with a sprinkler system demonstration.

The Fire Safety Education section facilitates school and daycare educational trips, station tours, extinguisher training, and juvenile fire setter programs.

The Training Division also provides fire extinguisher training for companies and organizations within Bartow County.
Fire Extinguisher Training: $10 per person. The fee covers the cost of supplies and training personnel. Station Tours:

The public is invited to visit any of our 14 Fire Stations located in Bartow County. Tours are by appointment only. Keep in mind that these are working Fire Stations and that the firefighters may not be in the station at the pre-arranged time because of emergency calls. Also, tours of stations may be interrupted by emergency calls, but the firefighters will return to the station as soon as possible to resume the tour. Please call the local station to speak with the Station Captain to arrange a station tour.
